Interior Decoration is the process and art of planning - combining themes & concepts, soft furnishing, fittings, home accessories and furniture in the design of interior spaces, whether in the home, showroom, restaurant or office, and any other type of public spaces requiring aesthetic enhancement, applying visual communication to achieve a desired ambience in an attractive, logical manner. When done successfully, it attracts attention, adds value to the space and enhances patronage.

Get a better understanding of the basics of interior decoration by studying the elements and principles of interior decoration that govern effective design of any interior space.

By following the learning paths and their application in modern interior decoration, those with no formal interior decoration training can improve their concept planning and visual compositions.
